Can you please help with an audition song?

So auditions for my school musical, Seussical, are going on very soon and I need help choosing an audition song. I am an alto but I can hit some higher notes, so I want to audition for Mayzie, The Sour Kangaroo, or possibly Gertrude. We can not sing a song from Seussical. I was planning on singing "Hurry Up Face" from Snoopy The Musical, but I'm not sure if I should stick with that song. Any advice and suggestions would be very much appreciated! (=
