What if nothing was wrong in our relationship?

When we broke up he told me that it was too hard to do a long distance with me after being with me and living with me for a yr. He is in the military and it is hard for a couple to be together if they do not marry. He throught about it day and night of why we should call it quits. I believe when he says he loves me and wants to keep in contact after the heartache is over. He tells me I did nothing wrong, I am a very giving woman, sweet, y, wonderful, funny and loving. So if I am all those things then why did he not want to stay together? Granted I would only see him once a month but still. I know you guys do not compare, but when you hop into a new relationship do you think of the old one at all? I know MOVE ON... I am.. just trying to figure it out.
