Why wouldn't the Illinois public demand Obama resign from the Senate?

i think, based upon this information, that the people of Illinois demand that Obama resign his Senate seat. Either that, or start a recall effort. It is an affront to our Senate floor to have a racist bigot as part of this body. Do you agree?
