How to get rid of hornet's nest in our bbq?

d an old bed sheet over it so that you can pull it away from the railing to later open it..if you any sort of insecticide spray use something with pyrethrin, it has no residual aspect to it...supposedly spraying them with ice cold water will make them become inactive enough to remove the nest with a stick.
