Madcatz ps3 headset problem?

my madcatz headset for ps3 isnt working online. i turn it on and it flashes twice blue then repeats that until i turn it off. usually after a couple of flahes it connects and begins to steadily flash blue every other second to show its connected. its fully charged and ive already paired it since i used it already before. i held it down after it flashed twice until it began flashing blue to red nonstop until i turn it off. I did this after it wasnt working though. could i have disconnected it? and if so how do I reconnect it( a link would be great). and no i wont go out and get a new one if there is a way to fix this
