When Jesus died he went to hell for 3 days?

The Bible doesn't say that Jesus was in hell to preach to the souls there, but some false religions teach it. But then they also teach the trinity, hellfire and immortal soul, so it's not at all surprising. How and why would Jesus, who was dead, unconscious, without life be teaching others who were dead, unconscious and without life? It's illogical as well as a lie.
