Why is my fig tree's leaves turning yellow? Is it to much water or does it need feeding?

one question is where do you live ...if the answer fall within some of the more drought stricken areas the answer is that it needs more water, regularly. Answering the feeding, I have found the best method is to add about a 3 inch think area of composted manure in the spring. (Be sure not to have it piling on the trunk) This will will filter nutrients into the soil as water pes through it. You can supplement with a stake from your local garden center if you like.
